Free Index Betting Picks for NFL Football
The brand new NFL Season this year is as hot as it can be and that only means one thing for football bettors here in God's green earth, another season of intense NFL football betting phenomenon is taking place so you better get your free picks ready.
Rivalries are on the spotlight once again as NFL teams face-off with one another to determine just who will be at the top of the NFL football food chain.
You see, rivalries are what makes any sport worth watching for. Rivalries are what makes any gameday, worth fighting for.
For instance, the New York Giants will visit the San Diego Chargers in a grudge match that could be appropriately dubbed as the Eli Bowl. This rivalry started when Eli Manning voiced his displeasure with the Chargers in 2004 when he was San Diego's no.1 NFL draft pick. Manning forced the Chargers franchise to send him to the Giants.
Since then, whenever the Chargers and the Giants face-off, it becomes something more than a regular football game. It becomes a war between two teams that could only be described as a hate-fest.
You will also see the Oakland Raiders - Washington Redskins grudge match. Raiders' coach Norv Turner would definitely be out for redemption once his Raiders tango with the Redskins.
It was midway through the 2000 season when Daniel Snyder, owner of the Washington Redskins, got rid of Norv Turner, the head coach of the Redskins then, because of a disappointing 7-6 showing in the regular season.
The Redskins franchise did have Turner's replacements with the likes of Marty Schottenheimer, Steve Spurrier and Joe Gibbs. So how did they fare compared to the booted-out Norv Turner?
Not even close.
In fact, the last time the Washington Redskins have a winning season, it was 1999 with Norv Turner at the helm. The Redskins made a mistake of letting him go, and when the Redskins face the Raiders this season, Norv Turner, in his return as a head coach, will be out for blood.
And who could ever deny the intense rivalry going on between the Indianapolis Colts and the defending Super Bowl champions, New England Patriots?
The Colts lost 14 of their last 16 meetings with the Patriots including six straight. If not for the Patriots, the Colts would already be showing off their Super Bowl rings. Also, every time the Colts meet the Pats', Peyton Manning can't seem to get it together.
Peyton Manning will be on a mission once his Colts meet Tom Brady's Patriots. What happens next, we'll have to wait.
